NOTE: Jan Van Toorn is like the original “designer’s designer”. He came to RISD a bunch of times but I always missed the crits with him. One time I showed him a giant picture (like 24x36”) I had printed of a bunch of my friends jumping off a couch and he was like, cool.
According to Amazon, this book retails for $44.00— $19 more than what I’m asking — and ranks an understandable 691,398 in sales.
