NOTE: Designers always do this shit, man. I mean look at the cover — it looks nice, yes? But it’s so overused these days that you know in 10 years you’ll just see “that font”. It’s name is “Akkurat” but knowing that won’t be cool, so you’ll have to roll your eyes, much like people do when they see something like Eurostile or Trade Gothic, both of which I think can be nice in small doses. Shit. Maybe that’s not Akkurat. It might be Galaxie Polaris, a similar typeface but one for which my heart bursts with love, which why it does that [bursts, with love] is a long story that I won’t explain right now, but so I’ll mention that it stems from the fact that I was once really tired and I forgot the name of the typeface in question, and I was like “what is that one again, Sparklehorse Ponystar?” which I wasn’t trying to be funny because I was tired. Anyway regardless this book is totally awesome.
